After 17 years of research and development in the e-health sector, eHDL has developed and successfully implemented a brand of products and services that meet the demonstrated need for connecting the island of information (content) that exist in the industry today. We have been successful in linking complicated and technically challenging back-end processing with front-end Electronic Data Interchange systems. This has allowed us to move time-sensitive and perishable information in real time to the place where the information is most needed to reduce risk, enhance the ability of the service providers to get paid and to operate efficiently.

For the first time, in the e-health space has an opportunity to move important administrative data in real-time between healthcare providers (physicians, hospitals), insurance companies, and managed care organizations. eHDL provides the logics, methodologies and technologies necessary to establish and keep the relationship that exist between the member (patient) and the provider. In addition, the systems at eHDL provide all of the processing necessary to permit providers and managers to interactively direct information to all of the back-end operation. eHDL through its database processing rules and established custom programs can provide the administration of all business relationships that exists in the industry in association with providing services to members/patients. The company now provides all of the functions necessary to keep a medical and insurance risk organization operating.

Using a concept called “distributed processing”, we have successfully deployed systems that put the processing of information at the right place so as to reduce complications and to improve compliance and customer satisfaction. We have been able to achieve a level of expertise that is truly superior because of the extensive experience of the people working at the organization. The company was developed by individuals who themselves were affected by the common problems of inaccurate data, old information, disorganized data flow and limited connectivity to the data source.
